LAURENT PICHÉ - Co-founder / production manager

Picture
Laurent Piché grew up in the small rural town of La Broccoli in Manitoba, Canada. He has produced, directed and edited sporting event videos, commercials as well as a handful of short films, many of which have won numerous prizes in Festivals across Canada and in France. Laurent's first language is French but is obviously very much bilingual. Despite this fact, Larry constantly makes up non-sensical English words and blames everything on the French. At the age of 17, he also started writing and acting in a French Pre-teen CBC televised show called "Clan Destin". One of the many highlights of Laurent's career came in 2003 when his mock-documentary "Deuxieme enfance" was not only nominated but won both the "Best Picture" and "Public's Choice" awards at the Festival des Vidéastes in Winnipeg. Shortly after, Laurent launched his new Production Company "Hatchway Entertainment". Further to Producing and Directing his own films, Laurent continues to work on music videos and indie-features perfecting his craft as an Assistant Director soon to become a member of the Director's Guild of Canada.

michelle pelchat - co-founder

Michelle Pelchat (AKA Mj Meesh Pelchat) was born and raised in the small City of Sault Ste. Marie, located in central Ontario (Canada) right in the middle of the Great Lakes. When she was 14, Michelle began traveling Canada, eventually locating in Vancouver where a wonderful idea started to stir up and come to life. While travelling and experiencing life, Michelle loved to observe people and the world. She loves things out of the ordinary, for example: dyeing animals to look like other animals and writing messages on bathroom walls in secret code!

"Bunny Paparazzi"
Being the eldest of three boys, it was a constant battle for attention. This, in turn, lead him to acting at a very young age and to make the switch from traditional schooling to an arts focused high school and later university. Finding himself pulled into the working world and his creativity stifled, he needed an outlet for his energy. With a unique perspective and wide-eyed optimism, he attacks each new adventure with enthusiasm. Sean has an insatiable appetite for knowledge and is always looking to learn new things. He also enjoys movies, theatre and any performance art. He spends his free time working on his cars and exploring the dark corners of Gotham City with anyone who is willing or brave enough to tag along.

amy hoey - dance choreographer

Picture
A love for the arts has always been a huge part of Amy's life. She has been dancing since childhood and is blessed to continue doing what she love's now as an adult. After high-school Amy joined a professional hip hop company and spent the next four years traveling the world performing in schools and arenas with a team of international dancers, break dancers, DJ's, skate boarders and rappers. In 2005 she returned to her hometown to teach dance full time at a local studio. There she spent three  years investing into the community, teaching dance classes, summer schools and theatre productions before she and her husband decided to move to the big City of Vancouver. Since being here Amy danced in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, joined a professional hip hop dance company, choreographed numerous flash mobs and helped co-ordinate large dance events around the city. Amy has a passion to see the arts established in a greater way here in Vancouver and too see outlets created for young talent to pursue their dreams.
