Thrill Vancouver 2012!

Thrill Vancouver is an annual international dance event in which participants simultaneously emulate the zombie dance seen in the music video of Michael Jackson's "Thriller". This year, Vancouver Improv Anywhere took the reins for a flash mob style event. It was spooky, theatrical and most importantly… a zombilicious good time!

SweaterDay - Public Dance Flash Mob

On February 9th, we put on our favorite sweaters and turned down the heat down by a few degrees to help @WWFCanada take action against climate change, and work toward a sustainable future. By rethinking how we use energy and how much we use, we can make a big impact on climate change.

In preparation for the 2012 Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival, VIA was hired to promote this year’s featured wine region; Wines of Chile! We choreographed two original dance numbers and delighted the guests at both Canada Place and at a promotional wine tasting event off Granville!

For their Christmas Party this past December, Mosaic Homes invited VIA to surprise their employees with some jovial improv miming! Our agents showed up wearing green suits and Christmas hats... the catch? One of them was their boss! Laugher quickly ensued :)

Season's Greetings - VIA Comedy Show

This past Holiday Season, Vancouver Improv Anywhere was hired to perform several improv shows at various Corporate functions and parties. The whole thing was a great experience, the clients loved it and we hope to get hired many more times in the new year. VIA has also been hired to perform at weddings, held special events during the 2010 Winter Olympic games and joined forces with World Vision Canada for an epic dance number... just to name a few.
